Introduction A little about Shelley
Shelley’s natural instinct has always been to want to improve and organise the way things get done. If there is a quicker more efficient way to do something, she will find it or just create it! So it’s no wonder that Shelley is a firm believer of ‘work smarter, not harder’.
Her working career spans over 25 years, going straight to work after matriculating. Shelley did everything from selling holidays and industrial vacuum cleaners (I kid you not) to outdoor advertising while paying for her PR and Marketing courses. Sales was never her forte (as she is a more behind the scenes kind of gal), and after working overseas for a few years in admin positions, Shelley’s love for organising took flight.
Arriving back on South African soil she worked as a Personal Assistant to the MD of a large multi-national retail company before taking on the role of Public Relations Manager., becoming an expert at ‘pulling out a magic wand’ and making the seemingly impossible, possible (often on a shoe-string budget).
To do lists and check lists, are all part of her day, even creating them in her dreams! Organising calendars, creating knock out presentations, writing copy, travel bookings, and event planning are tasks that just come naturally.
If you are looking for someone with special organization and project management skills, who is goal-oriented, proactive, excellent at reporting, and tremendously persistent, Shelley’s your gal!
